Mean Green Spicy Smoothie

In this series I gave you a few entrees and a dessert with some heat, so let me wrap up with a mean green spicy smoothie.  This green smoothie beverage is inspired by a juicing recipe I use to make before I began the keto lifestyle.   The original recipe called for green pears and green apples.  Because they are not really keto friendly I decided to swap out the apples and pears with some monkfruit to cut the bitterness of all the green vegetables.

Subsequently after doing makeup for a wedding, a glass of the mean green smoothie would give me a nice boost of energy.   Before adding the smoothies to my program I use to make bad food choices after a wedding because I’d be so famished.  Furthermore none of those food choices ever involved a vegetable..lol.  Whereas now with the mean green spicy smoothie I can get more than my daily recommend allowance of veggies.  And all in an eight ounce glass!
